During Gary’s 25 years in industrial/commercial real estate, he has completed over ifteen-million square feet of industrial real estate transactions, valued at over $500 million. He takes pride in his achievement of having successfully leased or sold all of the buildings he has listed.

Gary attended the University of Southern California where he received a B.A. in Political Science. He received his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law and practiced real estate and contract law (admitted, Central District Court – California) before leaving the practice of law to pursue his true passion, industrial and commercial real estate brokerage.

Gary has extensive experience in the analysis, valuation, sale, purchase and lease of industrial/commercial real estate. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), whose members represent today’s most knowledgeable, experienced and successful industrial real estate brokerage specialists. Gary also serves on the Board of Directors of the Broadway Rosecrans Industrial Commercial Association (BRICA), where he represents the business interests of major industrial companies in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.

Tom Walsmith

bio-thomasTom Walsmith has more than thirty five years of experience as a broker and property manager in the Los Angeles area. After receiving his BS in business administration and real estate, Tom spent his early career as a sales associate in a downtown industrial real estate firm, serving the communities of LA, Vernon and the City of Commerce. He then moved to West LA and has since specialized in brokerage and management throughout Culver City, LAX and the South Bay. He served as Vice President and Sales Manager for one of the area’s top industrial companies before co-founding several successful partnerships, as well as his current Commercial Property Group, Inc.

In each of his companies, Tom has been chosen by his colleagues and partners to serve as broker of record, and his career has been marked by significant contributions to the real estate profession, particularly through his years of service in the AIR Commercial Real Estate Association. He has been
an integral part of the AIR’s efforts to maintain the highest ethical standards among its members, through education and arbitration. Tom is a past board member and president of the AIR, as well as a recipient of their Master of Industrial Brokerage award.

Tom has handled hundreds of transactions during his tenure as a broker, and has represented many prestigious companies in southern California, including Fox Television, Punch Studio, Pitch (Advertising Agency), Shinano Kenshi Corporation, YMCA, Westwood Financial Corporation, Pennsylvania Life Insurance Company, Golden West Trading and Sony Pictures. Tom’s property management portfolio includes commercial and industrial, single and multi-tenant buildings throughout the LA area including properties in West LA, Santa Monica, Culver City and Camarillo.

As a native Southern Californian, Tom is committed to giving back to the community, and throughout his career has volunteered for and served on the boards of organizations such as, The Business Finance Center (a non-profit SBA Lender), the Jewish Free Loan Association and the Westchester Association. Tom lives in Calabasas with his wife Sue, a residential realtor.
